A genuine Portland native, Stu is the heart of the operations - he's the adventurous spirit, often found biking long trails or diving into glacier-fed lakes. Anca, on the other hand, is the soul. A certified natural skincare formulator, she's the brains behind their exquisite products, while her artist’s touch adds the magic. Anca's love for earthy pleasures, be it the aroma of sun-dried laundry or the unique scent of 'Petrichor' after the rain, reflects in everything they create.

Their shampoo bars are crafted from eight distinct oils that envelop your hair in a gentle yet nourishing lather. Beyond just cleansing, these bars work wonders: they condition deeply, fortify the hair, and soothe the scalp. With herbal infusions, our shampoos tackle common concerns like dandruff and mild scalp eczema. Plus, every wash indulges you in aromatherapeutic delights, invigorating the scalp and uplifting the spirit.
Choose from the following options:
Laranja Chamomile - best for thin - normal hair: infused with organic chamomile to soothe the scalp and organic marshmallow to strengthen and bring shine to the hair. Its essential oil blend of lemongrass, litsea cubeba and clove adds sheen and luster to the hair. This essential oil blend is also energizing, enlivening and helps to ease feelings of stress and depression.
Ingredients: olive, coconut, castor, shea butter, sweet almond, avocado, hemp seed & apricot kernel oils; infused with organic marshmallow and chamomile.
Neutral Henna - best for normal to itchy scalp: Cassia obovata, known as neutral henna, is an excellent conditioner that leaves the hair glossy, smooth and thick, and the scalp healthy and dandruff-free. Marshmallow root, Althea officinalis, is a mucilaginous emollient with conditioning, hydrating and de-tangling properties. The combination of these two deeply conditioning, hair smoothing and strengthening plants with our richly nourishing oils create a shampoo that is an amazing hair tonic. Neutral henna, botanically a different plant than henna, is a non-colorant while the mucilage in the marshmallow root also helps soothe dry itchy scalps and combats scalp inflammations. We've scented this amazing shampoo with scalp-rebalancing geranium essential oil combined with mood-elevating clary sage and lavender essential oils.
Ingredients: olive, coconut, castor, sweet almond, apricot kernel, avocado, hemp seed & shea butter oils; infused with organic neutral henna & organic marshmallow root.
To use a shampoo bar simple wet your hair, rub all over with the bar until a lather forms, put the bar aside and scrub as you like. Rinse well and then condition as needed. Due to the high castor oil content in the shampoo, it's best if you keep this bar in a dry place between use.
