Marius Fabre's palm oil-free, white Marseille soap for the laundry is made with oleic sunflower oil. It's effective on stains but gentle enough to use on delicates like silk, satin, lace, baby clothes, scarves etc.
Please Note: Glycerine has not been added to this Marseille soap, it is naturally present in vegetable oil. After a 10 day cooking period and many rinses, only a small amount remains. Authentic Marseille soap, when it is made according to traditional processes, is actually glycerine free. “Glycerine” is, however, listed in the ingredients because some traces remain.
