Darning mushrooms are made to keep fabric smooth and flat around the worn out area in the clothing you are mending, while you lovingly stitch or weave a patch to repair it. They also help in mimicking the shape of an elbow or toe - where holes are common.
These lovelies are made locally by our very own, Ken Williams. Made from reclaimed wood, turned and sanded to an extremely fine finish, assuring a smooth surface to prevent snags or pulls in your thread.
Due to its handcrafted nature, there may be slight variations in wood color, size and design.
